Care After Tooth Extraction

Hey mommies! I understand not all mommies are superwoman. Even if we think we can do everything, still we need to mind ourselves as we are not exempted of weakness. Especially after any dental operation, one should take extra care.

Medical Paper Transactions After Childbirth

Giving birth alone or husband away is a struggle. Fortunately, I haven't experienced it myself in my two pregnancies but my sister had. If you happen to assist a birthing mom, here is a guide I can share about medical paper transactions after childbirth.

Packing Checklist for Childbirth

When my sister is on her last term of pregnancy, I gave her my previous baby things including the baby books where the packing checklist is written. She and her husband already started packing before he left for almost 2 months of business trip in Japan since she could go into labor at any time before due date. Here is my own packing checklist for childbirth which I merged from every info I got from baby articles, other moms, and my own experience.

Dengue in Kids

I know this is a late post already, perhaps I'm still in the recovery phase? Recovery from the stress of catching up things and deadlines from the tasks I had left when my 2 kids were admitted to the hospital. Yes, both of them at the same time. Ugh! My 6 year old son was diagnosed with pneumonia and my 4 year old daughter with Dengue. They had different diagnosis but they're both monitored for pneumonia and dengue, just being vigilant.

Blog for a Cause: Breast Cancer Awareness

Do you already see pink ribbons anywhere or receive flyers with pink ribbon symbols on them? Well, it’s because National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is fast approaching – October.

It was 2 years ago that I posted Mesothelioma Cancer Awareness because of a fellow blogger and a cancer survivor, Heather Von St James, emailed me about her campaign.

Today, I’m doing this for a friend, my daughter’s godmother – Roselle Pino Casanoba. She is a mom like me. She is diagnosed with Breast Cancer 2 years ago after giving birth with their only daughter, Maxyne. And until today, she is still struggling to fight this illness.

Blog Post for a Cause: Mesothelioma Cancer Awareness

Last July 20, one blogger emailed me about a campaign which is to dedicate and share a blog on a certain disease – Mesothelioma Cancer. This is the first time I heard of it, though I know there are many kinds of the devastating cancer. What surprised me more is that the sender is a survivor! She beat the odds 8 years ago but had her left lung removed. She overcame the trial and do the mission of her second life – to educate everyone about Mesothelioma Cancer and help save lives.
